She is a UK born artist who currently lives and works in Belgium. She works mainly with light. This artist has influenced my work in a sense of how to use natural materials within a gallery space, and not to spoil the purity of it.
The use of light, water, fog etc. gives an idea of purity and naturally within her work. ‘Yellowbluepink’ is a light installation which allows the viewer to have an experience within the space, rather than think about the meaning of the work.

‘The mist appears to disintegrate the materiality of the space whilst at the same time imparting a materiality and tactility to light and colour.’ Emily Sargent.
